Ok need some experts here for this question. Is there an Android version for the Black Berry Curve? I have an old bb and I was thinking it would be cool if I could through Android on it and use it to be my "MP3" player. I have a lot of music on Google Music and thought that this would be a great way to not use the resources of my EVO. If not possible to put android on the bb anyone know how I can still accomplish my goal?

Whilst you can't run Android on a blackberry, there was talk a while back of being able to run Android apps on them: BlackBerry phones 'to run Android apps' - Telegraph

I believe the blackberry tablet has the functionality, but not sure what the deal is/going to be for the older devices.

I havent seen a root method nor flashable rom for bb the software type for bb is kinda specific to them and even in the unix world of ios you cent flash android to all ipod touches. Its only available for 1st gen (i think). One would think that one would be able to put android on something that was built for unix, but one would be wrong

Thanks guys I had read a while back that it was more specific just wondered if someone had figured out a port. Will look into getting the android apps to work maybe

I have a first gen Ipod touch that I've tried to jailbreak for the hell of it, but any links and thing like that I've tried are all dead. If I could put android on that it would kick ass.

a word of warning, its quite buggy and im not sure how well it actually works lol
