Finally rooted my Desire at the weekend and flashed my first custom ROM tonight. Went for the Redux B1 in the end.

Wasn't so sure about the battery life at first, then realised that I had spent a while downloaded and restoring everything (almost) from before!

So far, very impressed!!!

I had searched for a Redux ROM and it came up with the ReduxB1 (Gingerbread).

Sorted now...
