Root A500 Roms

Subzer0

Android Enthusiast
 Is there a reason why no one has posted any of the ICS Roms for the A500 on here? I've found quite a few at XDA, and have tried 3 of them with total success. Just weird that no one has put them on here. If anyone wants, I can add them to this forum too.

there are a few threads with links to Roms.

But, it would be great if someone could start a thread with links and descriptions.

Taboonay is my current rom.

As far as I can tell EVERYTHING is working. I have not seen any crashes and battery life is VERY VERY good.

hope this is alright to post.

i use an app called "acer recovery installer". it is a paid app but it does have a good list of roms and it will back up and install a rom of your choice.

you have to do the leg work yourself and read up on the rom if you are unfamilliar with it.

I cannot seem to find a paid version of Acer Recovery Installer... I have put a link to the free app in the sticky at the top of the All Things Root section.

Once you've installed a custom recovery, it is pretty easy to make backups and flash ROM's though, so it shouldn't be an issue!

Just a note:

Descriptions and links to the developer's original thread are fine, but please don't copy-and-paste the OP from another site. Not only is it a breach of copyright, it hotllinks the downloads which puts strain on AF's servers.

Thanks.

Oops, my bad. Sorry
