Root ABCindicate comes to Optimus M

Hello there. I am not an avid user of the OM anymore, since I have purchased the OM+. However, I do still have my original 2 OM's. My two oldest children are using them as alarm clocks and mp3 players, etc. My daughter couldn't care less what ROM she has, but my oldest soon would probably like to play around. The phones aren't activated with service so I can't test SMS/mms, phone, etc. I can test other aspects of whatever ROM.

Now, as to my other phone: have you guys looked at the Optimus M+?

how is that fixable? He might want to implement the fix for it.

Replace the boot.img with another one, either from my backside port, or bobzhomes last build for cm7.

the lock screen issue is a simple fix. go to cyanogen settings and turn off the animations for lock screen. I reuploaded some new versions but i am going back over them again before i link them. We made an AlienWarez! rom. Would you like that one too?

AlienWarez sounds interesting, how about an MIUI rom, is it something along the road?

Flashed more than once and turned the screen animation off, didn't help

sorry...there's two of them..turn one off...the other on....but I think I found a fix for that!!..BTW I can't remember when using Rom manager which recovery to flash....optimus ??? I am going to put them on Rom manager along with releases at the ABCindicate site and here in A.F....plus I have to port AlienWareZ! what base should I use? I think I will build off of joneidy sense..I've pmed him and asked. Playful god already gave me the goahead for the cm7 base

Very cool. Sorry can't help with which recovery from rom manager, I bounce between 4 on my SD card. Can't wait to see what comes out of this, thank you for your time. It's very appreciated

Optimus C is the same exact phone as us, just different carrier.

So we select optimus C while in ROM Manager....just read my signature.....

joy is still screwy..but alienware, singularity a+ and singularity cm7 should be a go...unless u guys think they need more...I can't test them cause my m is gone with my daughter so I need your eyes to say if its ready or not.

ya i think i screwed something up somewhere on that...if i had a bootable joy i could see where i went wrong...i think it was the system lib files i messed up..not sure yet..haven't had time to concentrate on it

You should, i think is time different looking systems came to our phones as long as there stable. MIUI had me hooked but unfortunately it still has problems i guess.
