Root ? about rom manager in cm7 and mms iphone

whats the benefit of the rom manager built into cm7? i try to go into it and it wants me to install and downlaod cwm from there and ask me to choose my phone. if i choose the ascend will it automatically put the correct version of cwm on it? when flashing in between roms do i still go into the old cwm way or can you flash through the rom manager. also has anyone had any issues receiving mms from iphones? other phones work but sometimes when i get one from a iphone it wont download the pic it. thanks

it will work both ways. Rom manger also let you rename you backups so u can keep up with em better. U can also do a fix permissions thru rom manager

Well I guess it would be safe to say the biggest benefit for rom manager is that you can now dl all the latest cm7 updates directly from there. <---Biggest benefit for me!

And yes if you do select your phone it will install the proper Cwm compatible with our phones.

And I also cannot receive mms from Iphones, not sure why that is but I am trying to figure it out.

seems alot of peoples are having this problem, just have them to send to your gmail account for now...:D

Same here actually. Cm6 kind of "Dragged". I have no idea why, It seemed like it should be as fast as Cm7. Guess each phone is different. Either way, I like Cm7 for it's UI too. It looks beautiful. Very cool considering we aren't even supposed to be running it! LOL.

It's okay to love your phone, just don't "LOVE" your phone. And just for note, Issac putting his work on ROM Manager is the 2nd best thing he has done. CM7 being the first.
 
I've been having some problems with rom manager.. anytime I try to boot into recovery mode from it, it just goes to the huawei screen and stays there. Any thoughts? :/
