On topic...

I'm at 79% battery life...been on wi-fi all day with only light usage of my phone (work sucks LOL). Been off the charger since 7am.

4G that hungry that it makes that big of a difference?

You were absolutely correct in saying that 4G was the main culprit for the battery drain, just as mobile data has been on every smartphone. Edge, 3g, 4g, etc still drain more (in some cases, a lot more) than wifi. Thats why people always suggest to set the wifi sleep policy to Never on android phones.

On my atrix, if I were to sit in a wifi zone all day, My battery life would essentially double than if I were on "4g"

This reminds me of when everyone first got their incredibles about a year ago. I just bought an external charger and a spare battery and never looked back. It can be a pain to have to carry an extra battery but its not very big and you can easily last through the day and then some.[/url]

I disagree about never looking back. I bought the big OEM battery and survive with the Incredible, but I am looking back and I'm not willing to put up with this again with the Thunderbolt. Hope the Stealth, Revolution or Bionic have better battery life.
