i have it my wife has the optimus hers may have a smaller screen but 2.2 to 2.1 compleate garbage i should of just spend the extra and got one too and why would they relases 2,2 for accend after all i read just high hopes i dont expect it u guys should no better they want ur money nothing free anymore .and the accsend is so slow sloooooooooooow
 
Did you get rid of crap wear and boost your cpu? I'm pretty sure the optimus doesn't do flash, which blows chunks ahahahahaha And they already leaked 2.2, so it will be here very soon;0)
 
yea it dose flash has adobi right on it made me mad yea done all the crapware removal hepls but to outher phones way slow and i been hearing every mo 2.2 update and still nothing
 
My bro has optimus, umo not worth the trouble it takes to mod.
My ascend runs only every so slightly slower, so much that its barely noticable. Rooted and boosted, of course.
 
I love the My ascend and to me it doesn't seem slow...now it If I was the super hero Flash and doing hero stuff 24 hours a day then I guess it would seem slow, but since I'm not I can wait like 2 seconds for something to load up :). Soon some people want be happy with there phone's because they cant live or drive in them while watching a movie, playing a game and buying stuff at the same moment.....So let's take a breath and enjoy what we have for now, life seems to go to by to fast these days as it is :D
 
I have the Optimus M, and it does NOT support flash. But using a browser like skyfire you can see flash on websites.
 
@Jazziette....I love it, its my first android phone and its the best thing that ever happened to me. (well not really)
But its a fantastic phone.
 
That's what I hear, sthomas! I had an LG Dare before I got my Ascend and it was an awesome phone. Thanks for the good report! Cricket is getting an Optimus sometime this Q1 I have heard. And it will more than likely be the Optimus M. :)

Nice to have options! LOL
 
I wish my wife would let me root her ascend, shes afraid I'll 'F' it up because Ive never done it before. I'd do mine but because I have 2.2.1 it seems a lot more complicated and I WILL 'F" that up.
 
The one thing that I don't like about the optimus m is it looks really thick. I think I'll wait for the x5. I actually think the zio would be a nice phone with 2.2. It has the dedicated graphics processor and a higher resolution screen than the ascend. Its also supposed to have excellent sound quality.

here is what u do , clean it , package it up , sell it on criaglist or ebay :D
they take that money and buy urself the LG :cool:

with flasher , 1g cpu , 2 g rom /ram
lose the lil ball LoL
come in different color
what a perfect ascend that will be LOL
 
ascend have adobe flash player ?
but Optimus M run on 2.2
im sure u can download adobe flash 10.1 rite ?
my friend have the samsumg ,
its very nice but the battery lol
he cant even finish a whole movie
without battery going low on his phone
