Root access root/system if phone will not boot

admire phone will not boot!
system/app folder deleted
trying to reflash or at least copy app folder back on to phone.
adb will not recognize the phone at all.
i haven't been able to boot into download mode in about 2 days which is odd because i wasn't having an issue with that before.
when i could boot into download mode odin connected and i was able to start the copying process but it would never finish.
should it take more than an hour?
any help with these issues would be great!
any other programs that i can use to access the root of the phone with out it being booted?
it will start just not past the samsung screen
is there an RUU for admire?

if you can get back into download mode:
you can click debug only in odin and then check PDA Format before you start the download but after you've loaded the ops and pda.

or

load the cwm through odin and flash a custom rom
