Help Accessing internal storage from computer?

First of all, yes I am using the data USB that came with the phone. I have previously been able to access the internal and SD card files from my computer with the USB link. Normally both directories would pop up when I connect to the computer. Now for some reason I can no longer access the internal files. I can still get the SD card files though. Is there something maybe in settings I have changed that would block the internal files? I have rebooted the phone and the computer but still no access. Any help would be appreciated!

Are you rooted? If you are you need to go into recovery and go to "Mount and Storage" and choose "Mount SDCard". For some reason I have noticed that that option gets unmounted. It should read "Mount SDCard" if its not enabled and "Unmount SDCard" if it is already enabled. Also if you are using Windows7 you might need to try updating your phone drivers as Windows 7 has some issues with reading the drives sometimes. Don't ask me why but Windows XP works while Windows 7 doesn't sometimes.

If you are not root-ed ... follow the steps in ... Connect Bionic to Windows 7 with USB Cable ... it always works for me.

What Thom said works.

Usually I just reboot the phone while attached to the pc and it brings both directories back.
