I picked up one of these cases (silicone type-not snap on). I had it on for about 1 day, took it off and noticed that the circle pattern on the inside of the case (which feel rough) left marks on the back of the phone. Not sure if they would wear off or stay there permanently. I thought this was strange though. The outside of the case is very smooth, but the circular pattern on the inside is not. Anybody else notice this? I'm wondering if I should return the case... sucks cause I like it much better than the snap on style. And I like it more than the crystal skin ones from ebay (like from pawavenue) because of the pattern... whats a girl to do?

Last month when I bought my phone I went on eBay to see what they had listed under "Eris" there were only 3 items shown. Today using the same key word "Eris" there are 1115 listings. I have gotten a black silicone cover, a car charger, and 2 1500 mAh and a charger for them. Grand total cost? $27.00. You can't even buy a case at Verizon for that. The original battery with the phone is 1300 mAh, so maybe I'll get a little bit longer battery life - maybe not. I haven't gotten the batteries yet so I can't comment on them.

Has anyone had success with accessories to listen to music from your Eris through your car's stereo system? I'd be interested in seeing what others have found. I did find one, you plug it into the mini USB port on the phone, and then plug the device into your car charger. However, it only provides power/charges the transmitter. It does not charge your phone at the same time.

So, ideally, I would like one that will allow you to charge the phone at the same time as using it. Or one that plugs into the headphone jack instead of the mini USB. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I got the perfect one. Its called scoshe it charges your phone while it plays, acts like a hands free device, and keeps the station that it plays when you turn off your car or unplugg it. I got my buddy loves it so he getting one. You can find it on ebay for around 15 bucks. Other wise you need a spliter for cigg lighter plugin. Oh you use your htc cable in the car comes with the headphone jack.

Heres the website http://www.scosche.com/products/sfID1/210/sfID2/322/productID/1485

Thanks! Sometimes I hit areas while driving where the station I listen to the most doesn't come in and Pandora does an incredible job at playing most of the music they play.

I would love to hear your feedback on the battery. I have looked at it and thought about ordering it. Thanks!

just ordered the seidio innocase for the eris and some screen protectors. anyone have any pictures of this case on their phone? (other than the ones on the phandroid store and seidio website)

no prob...lol...been using it for like a year.

When I was creating it yesterday a few of my colleagues thought I was being ridiculously silly... now today, when it's all done, they're impressed and wanting to create one of their own. Bwaaaaaaaaaahahahaha :)

I have a hard snap on case which I love. I've already dropped my phone twice no harm done, and it doesn't add too much bulk. I also have a screen protector from Verizon and a nice Golla bag. I'm super clumsy though and need all these added layers of defense - I've gone through 2 BBs previously.

I have the Skinomi and lvoe it. It bubbled up a lil bit down the road but they sent me a replacement after I emailed them about it and had no issues since. I actually like the feel better than with nothing on it.

just received my innocase and it is very nice. adds very minimal bulk and has the same feel as the back cover of the phone. i highly recommend spending the extra money on this case. will post pics if anyone wants to see. also got the smartphone experts screen protectors which look nice, havent installed one yet since I needed to head back to work.lol

yes please.. did you get the holster as well?

no i didnt get the holster. Im a pocket kinda guy or i just carry it in my hand (similar to ari gold from entourage.lol). ill post pics tonight when i get home from work.

Can't locate my camera to take pics but someone posted photos over in that desktop cradle thread of the case and charging stand. Should give you a good idea. I tried to put one of the smartphone expert screen protectors on and it was not a good fit at all. So after ditching my last verizon protector for one of these new ones, i have decided to go with nothing since the new SP didnt fit right/look right. Just the case for now and it feels awesome. Im over worry about my screen day in and day out trying to keep it brand new. I just want to enjoy the phone and its going to get some abuse sooner or later. Lets face it.
