If we aren't careful, OTD will find out we've been talking about her. Plus, I realized she probably has a phone because everyone does. My guess is it's a Motorola of some sort. Matt

I'm sure the OP (original poster) isn't following this anymore, but a Google search for the abbreviation with the word ''definition'' or ''origin'' will usually get you what you're looking for. That's how I learned what FTW (for the win) means, from a pretty lady on YouTube, as it happens.

Google might have helped him, but I think he was trying to look on the forum first. I have done that plenty of times on tech forums. Sometimes the acronym only fits for that forum. As pkopalek pointed out OTD also means Open Technology Development and on any other forum or website that would probably be the answer you would get. I think this section of the forum is the only place OTD would actually refer to me. If you started referring to OTD on the rest of the site, I doubt any non-Eris users would know what you were talking about.

I offered that as a supplement to the flood of information, some of it even relevant to the topic, she or he was getting here.

Guys, lay off the fawning puppy-like affection please. It's annoying to read on every single thread. She's just a person, a normal one, not a deity. I'm a guy, and this is a WEB FORUM, no one should care about impressing anyone else, or tripping all over yourself to be noticed by her.

THat happens because my phone can't keep up with my kung-fu T9 skills. The folks at HTC are probably still laughing at me for asking when they would fix that.
