So happy to see the ball rolling so quickly. We've been waiting since August to get this kind of movement thank you so much for ur hard wrk. You and anyone else that is involved in the making of " The Beast" :D
 
My phone is taking much longer to boot than before, especially all files on sd card. Sometimes the sd card apps won't show up for 3-5 minutes. Does anyone have a clue as to what may be wrong?

Phone is rooted and running Admiral Beast. I've done a Dalvik and system cache clear. Phone has been a little slower lately also.
 
Whew that freaked me out a good bit. I got flash working and I decided to clear my dalvik cache and cache folders. Afterwards, my Android Assistant wouldnt load due to some process force closing. I restarted my phone and it got stuck on the Samsung screen for a good 2-3 minutes. It seems my phone is working fine now.

On another note, is Dolphin HD Browser the best one? If so, what version has the least amount of bloatware or can I remove the bloatware from the new one myself? I've been using Skyfire with the license to watch flash videos up till now, but skyfire isn't all that great.

I have a question it might sound stupid but isn't the Admire just a re-branded Epic 4G because they look the same on the outside and that is the only reason I'm asking.
 
I am guessing that he was referring to the Indulge. In that case, yes, it is a galaxy s like the epic 4g. It is not as good though (no flash for the camera et cetera).

So I just got the Admire and wanted to download CWR and at least make a backup. Finally got ODIN to recognize my phone and get CWR installed. Didnt see how to boot into CWR so I had to hop onto IRC chat and found out lol. Now to download this beast :D and make her snappy! Previously had the Huawei Ascend and LG Esteem, now onto this one. Lost my Esteem so I couldn't afford another one. But I'll live, phone is surprising snappy for 800mhz.

I love this phone. I've done enough to it now that iphone owners are jealous.

lol. All uot does is replace images. It don't optimize the apks. Rom toolbox is a great tool but it can't make the changes I made to the build.prop. It can on modify whats there n can't add a line unless you know what to add.

I got some great settings for romtoolbox buy once I get init.d support there will be no need for rom toolbox.
 
Thanks for everything that you have done so far, and I know that you have a lot more ready as soon as the kernel is done. You mentioned an initial kernel to release your rom and then a fine tuned kernel to be developed once the pressure is off. Is there any chance that the initial kernel will have ext4 support? I am passing my admire off to a friend, but am trying to do as much to it as possible beforehand. Thanks again.
