Wow, I had never heard of uot kitchen. Really wish I had known about it when I had my OG Droid. Awesome looking resource.

The uot kitchen is great for basic themes. It only themes the status bar. Theme devs as my self will have most of the system apps themed

Oh yeah. I didn't mean to sound like I was deriding you and other Theme devs. I know that you guys do amazing jobs. For me, however, I have basically no creativity, not to mention no skills behind the scenes. All I meant was that this gives folks like me a little more flexibility in how our device looks. Had I known about it then, I probably would have stuck with a theme longer than a couple of weeks.
 
Thank you so very much !! it worked perfect! took like 3mins, cant wait to be able to do more on the admire, i was wondering ive read on other threads that its not possible to get 1GHz on the admire given the processor or something?? just curious :) thank you again MysteryEmotion and everyone else that helped :)

I think the processor can handle 1ghz its just a matter of waiting for a recovery n a kernel
 
I'm now noticing a real fall in the performance of my phone. Words with friends takes minutes to load a game. It evens lags and is messing up as I type this. I found out I do not have adb installed and and I cannot find it. Could this be the culprit? Everything us moving so slow and I keep getting the vibrate followed by two vibrations like on a force close.

some more information would be helpfull. you on 2.3.4 on the admire? Have you installed anything or done anything after flashing this?

Yah admire 2.3.4. I'm not trying to talk down o n your work just so everyone knows. I'm sure its something I did and the room works fine. I haven't installed or downloaded anything since. My typing is messing up too like I can't click on a spot the green arrow is not matching up with the space or it scrolls if that makes any sense. What is adb for and where can I find it? Would that fix any issues?

Adb ain't the problem. Using titanium backup backup your entire phone. Do a factory reset. After that restore all your apps. Then restore data for your games.

Should I not re flash the rom? I'm not suref its the problem. Could just many do my phone screwing up like so many do

i was wondering the same . once u unzip the file you will see it's one of the files in the folder just click on it and it will install it self. it 's a prog needed to so you computer can interact with the phone. hope this helps . Android Debug Bridge (adb) is a versatile command line tool that lets you communicate with an emulator instance or connected Android-powered device.
 
im stuck on metro pcs logo help, can u make an updade.zip. i followed the steps and it rebooted and got stuck, i can only acces boot loader

OK so i downloaded the zip file but i am not running the run.bat until i get some help with ADP. I don't have it installed and am wondering if anyone can provide a link to download the program. Then is it something that runs on the computer or my phone. I have a rooted admire and windows 7. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

***** EDIT - OK i did not read the 2nd page to this thread. Ok so the adp.exe is included in the zip file. If i click that first to install right? Then run.bat with debugging on and it will do the rest on its own? Also, does this wipe all apps/contacts/pics/etc from my phone or no everything will be there the same as before installing this rom. This is my first android phone and just dont want to lose or go backwards in my progress :)
 
Sorry guys, i have problem, see im not stupid im pretty smart but what i did here was so stupid. I couldnt get the rom to get flashed so i thought i should do it manually, did system ui first and my status bar is gone. Can someone help me get it back please. i got all the other stuff flashed after i did it twice. i made a backup and tried replacing it but it didnt work. please help me get it back.

Got it to work.
Took me a a good 20 mintues. I had it stuck on the MetroPCS sign.. after Installing it correctly. Its Very nice, I like the blue, and the custom font. good job. Keep up the good work!
