it cant because of the current kernal, once that is cracked it can be adjusted to allow for more headroom in OCing. Some phones let you OC a bit from the start in the case of the admire it was hard set. So hopefully with a bit of time it can be figured out.

I will try a few of them out and see, once we have access to the kernel then we can start OCing and what not which would help towards such, for now most performance is along the lines of what we can free up that is already naturally there and not locked, but soon they are getting ever so closer to getting CWM working and that will be the turning point for this phone.

Anyone know if RAZR is working on one too for this phone or is it just CWM thats being worked on.

well my admire is stable, so i live by if it aint broke dont fix it. I dont really see the need to try this, and possibly brick my stable phone, just over some GUI enhancements
 
CWM is it working now with the admire because just two weeks ago I installed it and my phone became a paper weight I can't afford to brick my phone again because the case kind of got scratched and metro won't warranty exchange a phone that has scratches on the case.

touchy arent we? I dont see how that was a smart ass remark I was just asking if you didnt see the 8 other links like if there was a problem with maybe your browser and were not aware of the other links, I mean if I wanted to be a smart ass I could have done something like... "lol wow read much? there was like 8 other download location under that one, shoot even a low cell phone res would have shown those other links with out the need to scroll, talk about being oblivious the site is only called multiupload..." but you know I didnt because I was trying to be helpful. ~_~

touchy I was being sarcastic but the rest was true with IE and Firefox only one link was showing on the page and it lead to the freaking FBI DOJ banner
Oh if you did not notice I did thank you for your reply and I do apologize if I upset you in any way with my sarcastic reply I won't do it again.

ya he did that on purpose to expose his site to more people, you then click on the v.01 link to go to a download location with multiple download location options to pick from, select on from the lower list and download :)
 
downloaidng the file is fine and easy, its just he didnt word it to say download here! so i can see the confusion :) ill talk to him about fixing it up :)
 
I normally dont post alot cause i try really hard not to ask questions that i know the answers are already out there nor the second something goes wrong i come on here trying to get help (im a very DIY kinda guy) that being said, i havent tried the ROM yet. Im really only interested in OCing the phone. Ive read in so many contradicting posts on other forums and what not about the phones likely hood to be OCed. Im looking for a straight YES or NO answer. I understand about the kernel and it needing to be customized but i still want to know if thats possible or not. Thanks @mystery or whoever can help with this.
 
Also id just like to point out that id be more likely to use the ROM if i knew what it looked like and its functions, i saw the change log but that only give you the bare min on whats actually changed....screen shots anyone? please and thank you as always
 
Ohkay, So I believe I have done everything correctly and SU is up to date. I have the ClockWorkMod and everything else that needed to be downloaded. I am attempting to flash to the Admiral Beast Rom. But when I use run.bat. I get stuck at this blinking cursor, And yes Debugging is on.

*Daemon not running. Starting it now. *
*Daemon started succesfully.
_ <-- Gets stuck right there with the blinking cursor. I don't know what I have done wrong and I ask if someone can please help me asap.:confused:
