Thanks for everything that you have done so far, and I know that you have a lot more ready as soon as the kernel is done. You mentioned an initial kernel to release your rom and then a fine tuned kernel to be developed once the pressure is off. Is there any chance that the initial kernel will have ext4 support? I am passing my admire off to a friend, but am trying to do as much to it as possible beforehand. Thanks again.

Most likely not. I asked thomas to build me an initial kernel. All I asked for for init.d n to enable bootanimation.zip n w/e optimizations he wants to throw in real quick.

As far as the full fledge kernel I asked for. Everything above, Ext4, overclock n undervolt support with voltage control, voodoo sound n color ( this is ment for galaxy devices not sure if it will work with admire ), raise fps rate, enable swap, smartass governor, and other minor tweaks.

I could never figure out how to get abd, even your link and download androidsdk didn't help. I just ran the file in the zip folder and it installed.

After I Install beast, will it hurt it if I go to kitchen and make a new theme? Or can I cook something in the kitchen, use the beast apk file, then download beast with my theme?

I installed the rom and then used uot afterwards, Im fine. only thing Ive noticed is transparency doesnt work in the dropdown menu

I provided a link for the missing file needed to get someones stock swype working. They deleted my post saying its warez. Due to this I will not be posting any future work on this website cause according to them it would be warez.

I responded to the pm n hopefully the matter gets cleared up.

So where we would get the next version when it is done? Unless this is resolved

The phone is taking longer to boot then previous, I have done this several times and this time around it seems to be stuck at the MetroPCS boot screen, what is the fix or whats going on?

Hey @mystery does your 2.3.6 get weird text too? I installed this on 2.3.6 and got (emergency call, low phone storage) etc. I remember u told me it was working fine

So, I'm verified rooted - following steps closely.
This is what happens:
(Leaving out the obvious or unimportant)

segmentation fault app_process /dev...
rebooting phone. May buzz a lot( & yadayada - starts to reboot)
Installing Admiral Beast
Installing Etc tweaks
(exits cmd...)
Phone attempts to restart and hangs on "metroPCS" white letters, "metro" bold, "PCS" not.
When I removed the battery and attempted to start back up, multiple times, the same always happens - stuck on metroPCS screen. Won't load past that screen at all... Sometimes it will say "Metro-" ... sometimes there will be no sound at all (Should ALWAYS say "Metro-PCS, wireless for all" or something to that effect).
Verified rooted, have Titanium Backup & Basic Root Checker installed... Both programs ask for access to SuperUser, if I deny - Root Checker gets funny and TI says not rooted. If I allow, they BOTH tell me I'm good.

What exactly is my problem, here?

Also,
EVERY Binary file I used (such as the one-click root) ends up giving me [[segmentation fault app_process /dev...]] error - what's the deal? I mean, I'm great with computers - Linux, Windows, etc - I don't care - but I don't get why this happens. But, again, I AM rooted. Even though it gives that error.

I'm running Windows XP Home Edition 32Bit (I'm usually on my Pro SP3 32Bit, but this computer is in a location that works better for my research and studies).

Now, the ONLY thing I'm unsure of is my version of ADB. Supposedly I'm currently up to date, but can someone walk me, step-by-step, where EXACTLY I should go to get ADB? I've went thru Google and got "Android SDK Tools" which comes with "AVD Manager" and "SDK Manager" - went ahead and download everything for 4.0 as well as my version, 2.3+ (noted as 2.3.3 API 10) - Now, I don't mean I downloaded EVERYTHING within the subject areas - I downloaded everything pertaining to SDK and such - no documentation, no "by Motorola," etc - just the stuff I could ever actually need. But, could I be missing something important? Or would you call this unrelated?

One last thing - I can easily restore the phone. So that's not what I'm asking for help with. I just want to use Admiral Beast! :((

Long time follower, not so many posts.
I appreciate all the time y'all put into these forums, and I would be more than happy to donate somewhere between $10 and $20 to each project that I've used to get me thus far, as well as each project I'm going to end up using, (Depending on how much I have to spare at the time :P) I'd just like to get it all up and running first. But I do appreciate what y'all do, being a programmer myself, and I understand that - even though you are working for free, it certainly helps to have a dollar in your pocket. If nothing else, at least I can buy ya a beer ;)

Thanks again for your time and resolve. :)

EDIT: I have MetroPCS
