Help activation ?

So got the LG finally. Inserted the sim from many gs4 and I turn the phone on and it sees my number fine but can't dial 228 to activate any ideas? I put the sim card facing upwards thank you

Don't need to dial *228 when activating an LTE phone, as soon as you put in the sim and turn it on, it should be good to go... can you make calls?

I cannot make any phone calls at all. Not even toll free or 611

Think you said you were vz. Reseat the sim card. Go online and check the sim and eimi numbers.

UPDATE: Assume that you would have gotten it straightened it out by now, but I finally got mine. It took my sim from my GS3 no problem.
