I believe those were the earlier ascends when they first came out with cricket and metropcs, now all the recent ascends that they have made are able to overclock pass 710mhz... it was a guy on here a while back explaining why some ascends are able to overclock pass 710 and others aren't, like my phone for example, i have one of the earlier models i can't overclock pass 672mhz. Does it suck? yes but i have to deal with it, but the more ascends they made, the manufacturers did more research with them as far as putting more stuff inside them to boost up the processor.
