Root ad free w installed rom

Instaledd Mike2.58 ROM but seems like ad free no longer ...well blocks ads.anyone else notice this or am I doin sumthin wrong? Also noticed that superuser crashes a lot.

SU crashing is a known issue. You have to reinstall the old one by flashing it in recovery. It can be found in the before rooting section of the rooting for dummies gingerbread edition.


As for ad free, you may want to uninstall the one that comes with mik and reinstall the one on the market. That usually fixes any errors I have with ad-free ( java errors, ect)

What? No you don't. Simply go to manage applications, uninstall superuser, then reinstall from the market. Fixed.

For ad-freeness, try adaway. It's on the market and works really well. You will need to uninstall Superuser and reinstall superuser from the market of course to use it.

it was because there wa no update to the superuser app. the superuser app just got an update a few days ago that now seems to work now. the previous one was the issue.
