If you have never installed ADB on windows. this is the most basic way of installing ADB without requiring the full Android SDK. Download the appropriate binaries below for your operating system. Extract them somewhere safe and remember the folder location. Is best to extract the files to the Root of your C Drive (C:\)
ADB Binaries
windows_binaries.zip
Link to Linux ADB Binaries - linux_binaries.tar.gz
Link to MAC ADB Binaries - osx_binaries.zip
QtADB Links: (cut and paste into browser address bar)
Windows QtADB - (qtadb.com/qtadb/QtADB_0.8.1_windows.zip)
Linux 32-Bit QtADB - (qtadb.com/qtadb/QtADB_0.8.1_linux32.tar.gz)
Linux 64-Bit QtADB - (qtadb.com/qtadb/QtADB_0.8.1_linux64.tar.gz)
Mac QtADB - (QtADB_0.8.0_osx.zip)
QtADB is a Graphic Interface for ADB. Download the appropriate file above for your operating system and extract it somewhere you can remember. Create a shortcut on your desktop to the QtADB.exe file in the recently extracted QtADB folder. Upon starting the program it will ask you to point it at your folder with ADB. Point it to the ADB binaries folder that you extracted at the beginning of this post
Disclaimer:
I claim no ownership to any of these files. Nor do I claim to have created them. I have only linked to them to help out the development community. The real thanks should be given to the creator of QtADB for the extremely useful ADB GUI. Will also work over Wi-Fi which I find pretty cool.
