address in calendar

Am I missing something? When I have a calendar event with an address there is no way to open up maps/navigation from that address in the calendar. I was able to do it with my Droid2.

If there's even the name of a location in the "Location" field, google calendar will make it a clickable link in the calendar and give you the option of opening with the browser, maps or any other map program you may have (Bing etc). It works perfectly for me. Are your event locations not stored in the "Location" field? Maybe they are in the notes field or something?

only thing that is clickable is the numbers that are underlined and they direct me to the dialer and populate the dialer with those numbers thinking they are a phone number. I have the address in the correct area. When I look online at the google calendar the address is in the "Where" category. So I'm not sure what is going on.

Well I figured it out. If the address has 8 consecutive numbers in it, it thinks its a phone number and it is clickable to go to the dialer. For example "12345 678th Ave s" 12345678 should be underlined and click able. Take one of those numbers out and then the whole thing becomes clickable and takes you to maps. Thanks for the help. Off to report it to Google now.
