Root Adobe Flash Player 10.1 on Ascend

So - here's the deal -

Offering apk links for download outside of the Market is, strictly speaking, copyright violation and therefore illegal. Our site can have no part in that - so please don't do that.

Sorry, but that's the way it has to be.

It is skyfire that is letting those videos play not flash. Flash doesn't work on the ascend!

FLASH WILL INSTALL BUT WILL NOT WORK!



Ok flash will not work on this phone for a few reasons one being we have an arm6 processor not arm7, also there is no dedicated gpu on the ascend therefore flash will not work.Skyfire however converts the video on their servers to mp4,then sends it back to your phone :D
 
Question for anyone who knows..... Is there a way to SAVE the vid that Skyfire displays??? There's no save option but would the vid be hidden in cache possibly??
 
After I downloaded successfully the Adobe Flash Player 10.3 on the android market for my Hauwei Ascend, an error message came up and said that it could not be installed.
Before even downloading it, I had just done the system update (in which im guessing from a 2.1 to a 2.2?).
Does anyone know what is going on? Need help asap as im trying to watch tv on my phone for a game tonight in which i'll be missing at work :( lol
 
FLASH WILL NOT WORK ON THE ASCEND!

This is due to hardware limitations.
What you can do is dl skyfire browser. The flash videos are converted to mp4 so you can watch them on your phone.
 
This is true. I downloaded AND installed it successfully before, but it still just won't run on the Ascend.
 
Good info, right here. I've been trying to install Flash, but no luck. Now I know why. I heard about an Ascend 2, coming out, 'soon'. Would that have flash? Because I wasn't thinking about upgrading, since I just bought my Huawei Ascend, a month ago. But it might be worth the upgrade.

ok sorry if im beating a dead horse here :D recently read that xda has a armv6 flash version floating around.. i've downloaded it but haven't had time to test it.. 'Supposedly' works on ascend also (think i saw something about it somewhere around here the other day) i downloaded it but haven't had a chance to give it a go yet.. heard of it? i'll keep ya posted after i get some time to try it.. not crossing my fingers though lol..

Someone just posted a link on Cricket's Facebook page about it, they said it works...I guess I will give it a try. here is the link they posted.
