Help adobe flash player on Nexus 4?

redspider

Newbie
Hello folks,
Anybody know how to put adobe flash player on Nexus 4?
Certain sites say I need it, been looking but no joy!
Any help appreciated . :)
Thank you

You can download one of the versions that were for 4.0 from adobe's site. Google " Adobe Flash Android 4.0" or something like that.

After that you can use sites like the daily show.

Would you please provide a URL that is causing you problems?

I'd like to see if it causes me problems too after installing Adobe Air. So far I haven't found any Flash content that I can't see or use in any of the several browsers I've been experimenting with, including Chrome.

Adobe - Flash Test <-- try this page

Adobe AIR is for using Flash outside of a browser. And Google was pretty clear about supporting Flash with Chrome:

You may have sites work because HTML5 is becoming more prevalent, and Chrome has good HTML5 support.

Thanks, but is that really a meaningful check? The only thing missing on the N4 display that I can see on a laptop is the Flash version information because I don't have Flash installed on the N4.

How about a URL that causes you the Flash performance problem you're describing please?

It's a check to see if Flash works in your browser. You said you can see Flash content in your browser after installing Adobe Air. If you can't see the Flash content on the Flash test page, I'd guess it isn't working...

I don't recall mentioning any performance problems with anything.

Again, I can view Flash content anywhere and everywhere I find it. Just because your link tells me I don't have "Flash Player" installed on my N4 means nothing to me.

You interjected in a conversation I was attempting to have with the OP, as these forums allow you to do.

Good luck to you, but your repeated failures to provide a link to illustrate any need to install the antiquated "Flash Player" I'm sure isn't at all helpful to the OP.

My apologies for confusing you with the OP after your insistence on a question I asked of them.

Hi there, what is side load?
Thanks

It means you load the app through something other than the Google Market. So you can just go to that link on your phone and download the .apk, and then run it. You have to have permissions set to allow apps from unknown sources, which is in the settings menu under security.
