Help Adobe Flash Player...?

Bobizzle

Lurker
I'm trying to find Adobe FP for Android 2.2 on my Optimus V (I have 2.2.2 if that matters) Are there any working versions? I haven't been able to find one.

If I can't download then are there any apps that can do what Flash Player can?

You need to have a gingerbread ROM for Adobe to work properly.

For now you will need skyfire Browser and after a trial period you have to pay for the license to allow flash play.

So after I buy skyfire I have to get this gingerbread ROM? Pardon my ignorance/newbishness, but what does the gingerbread ROM do exactly?

I would read this. http://androidforums.com/optimus-v-all-things-root/472784-info-pros-cons-installing-custom-rom.html

A ROM is a replacement of the stock OS (operating system). You don't need gingerbread to run Skyfire, Andy is saying to get the flash app to run properly you need a gingerbread rom.

Skyfire takes the Flv and reencodes it as html5 so the phone can view it without flash installed.
