Root ADW Launcher problems

Hi, I am using an LG Optimus V. I recently rooted it using the all things root guide, and I am having trouble with the ADW Launcher. First, when I have a theme set it works fine, but I start having random reboots that seem to occur only when using an application. Also, when it restarts some general specifications are there, but the theme is dropped, but if I custom set a shortcut icon to an image from the theme pack it remains the same. The problem is the action button portion of the theme is dropped so i can't just simply change all of the icons to my liking. Now, I figured okay I will get everything set the way I want, and create a back up then restore when ever needed. Well the back up is not restoring to the latest files that I created, and I noticed that the save has been going much quicker leaving me to believe that it is no longer creating a back up. Has any one had similar problems, and what solution did they come to? I looked up something on it, and I locked desktop rotation to portrait which hasn't helped. The real issue is obviously the reboots. Please help.

Are you using the BACKside ROM? If so what build? How did you apply the Theme? Are you overclocked and if so what is your CPU settings?

cryogenMod-7.2.0-RC1-BACKside-IHO
eng.jerryscript.20120502.032319
245 MHz min
748 MHz max
It was at 800, but I wiped the phone data and cache in recovery mode started from scratch and decided to decrease speed. The setting of ADW Launcher are working fine now, but I had one crash/reboot while inputting text.
I am using the y0rk's Blue ADW theme, and I used the built in ADWLauncher that came with the rom.

It looks like your ROM is corrupted (Sorry about the overclocking question, just needed to double check).

How did you install the theme and was the theme designed for a HDPI , MDPI, LDPI, TVDPI or HXDPI screens? The Optimus V has a MDPI screen.

Did you install the theme from a zip, and wait until after a couple of reboots of the New ROM to install it or Install after a couple of reboots of the New ROM with the Theme Chooser app?

If you installed the apps with Titanium backup, did you link all the apps libraries that had library files?

Try the 01312012 build, it's the most stable. There are some minor bugs with the 20120502 build. You can find the download link posted in one of JerryScripts posts for the day of January 31 2012 in the BACKside ROM thread. If you want to stick with the build you have you will need to download a fresh ROM and Gapps, making sure to check the MD5 sum.
Reboot the ROM a couple of times before adding anything to it, waiting a couple of minutes. If you install the Green Machine theme, wait until after the reboots to install. Same with any theme.

Set you min up to 480MHz and the Max at 768MHz with the Interactive X governor. This is where you will get the best battery off charge times and the best overall performance. If you have the min down to low it will actually make the CPU work harder to ramp up, which causes a slight elevation in the CPU temp and a noticeable increase in battery drain.

You can always bump the CPU max up a little when watching videos or playing games, making sure to set back down when done.
