same here...but i have heard this mentioned by others...

I've has it happen to me twice.

I had this issue and read somewhere that clearing your system cache etc fixed it but then someone said it didn't fix it.

I have since sbfd my phone back to froyo and took the stock .596 from VZW and have not had the issue since. Not saying it's stock that did it but clearing the cache while sbfing seems to have fixed it for me.

I have seen a few times BEFORE the update and a lot shortly after the update. However, it seemed to have stopped now. I shut my phone off every night.

Yeah, very strange. Every time I power it off for a plane flight, it comes back on all by itself. Battery pull is the only fix.
