Root After root question

Right now I have my inc rooted. With all the talk about an update coming soon I really don't want to loose root, so I want to be prepared to download the later released root friendly rom. So my question is what steps do I take from here to be able to install custom roms? It seems like I need to install the un revoked program as well as titanium backup. Is this correct?

Also with un revoked, do you flash roms in recovery or is there a way to do it outside of recovery?

Any other suggesions are appreciated

You use the Unrevoked custom recovery, which is easy to get into, and lets you select which update you want to install. No pushing things, no timing, painless and simple.
