Is it possible to have AGPS support like how it is on the Sharp ROMs? GPS locks on instantly and inside buildings when you activate the Assisted GPS in settings.

That's interesting. I was told we have S-GPS. Supposedly that means the antenna is shared with the cell radio. I thought that may have been why when the GPS is used, we would often loose 3g and fall to 1x. I have heard some dirty work arounds, but they all call for a sacrifice of something.

I hope someone who understands the deeper workings of our systems will pick this up and help port it around. I'm going to try to confirm the lock speed and see if it does the drop to 1x issue. I do have to admit that I don't always loose 3g when using GPS, though.

I don't always lose 3G too. I usually have a lock by the time GPS Test starts up.

You are right.I have seen where it will show GPS first at the tower you are on before it locks on to your spot.Anything that makes GPS better on ICS ROMs would be great.The GPS libraries zip worked on mine but like I have said it could be something with my phone itself that let it work cause with others they say it didn't work.

Mine locks into my exact location upon lock. It goes from cold lock to 6' accuracy in roughly 5-8 seconds.

mine does tower lock in like 3 seconds then exact in like 8

Great! Now I'm going to have to flash this ROM and see how it works for me.
Dag on development. I wonder if I could figure something out (doubt it)

Sometimes after even 5 minutes I wouldn't get a lock with all of the other ROMs. Updating the gps libraries helped but still doesn't come anywhere near close to the Sharp ROMs.

I didn't forget about this. I just have been busy and my DEV has moved on to another ROM.
