If the battery is anything like my Aria, it will take 2 weeks of usage to go from "awful" to "decent".

I don't know if we can put much stock into these reviews if they've only been using it for a few days.

i agree a few days of usage isnt enough

Man, this guy really rips the battery. Says he didn't get thru the day once in 5 days with moderate use. That sucks.

Everyone knows that you need to charge your phone COMPLETELY for the first thing that you do with a phone. If you've ever noticed, review phones DON'T get charged before the reviewers play with them for a while. I've always charged my phones first thing and battery life goes without a problem.

I'll be doing the same with the Inspire, as should you.

I've usually done that, but I'm not sure I can wait that long to not play with it. Is it okay to use it while it's charging, or is it best to let it fully charge the first time while it's off?

Maybe someone with some real technical expertise can enlighten us. Also, with these new batteries, is it bad to charge it over night while it has a full charge? And to not let the battery run low?

I put my sim card in the inspire but it would not connect to the internet...i have the feeling it has to do with my plan still being a 3g plan. That or the IMEI.

I've always charged my phones fully first thing without even turning it on.

With both the Aria and Captivate, I never had that option. Both times, the sales guy turned on the phone to test that it works before I could leave.
