Root All In One Data/APN Fix for LG Volt on CM13/CM12 (Other ROMs too)

I am here posting a APN/Data fix. I am back since i got a new laptop. I see work is being put into CM13 right so that is very pleasant to see! Guess i know what im gonna be working on :)

I HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANY BRICKS OR GOTTEN ANY DAMAGES FROM FLASHING THIS BUT THERE IS ALWAYS THAT SLIGHT RISK JUST SO YOU KNOW. IT IS YOUR CHOICE TO FLASH THIS NOT MINE.


READ!: THIS HAS ALL SPRINT AND MVNO COMPANY'S THAT USE SPRINT TOWERS ONLY. RingPlus, Sprint, Textnow, FreedomPop, Boost Mobile, Ting, Virgin Mobile.


DIRECRIONS: •Doanload Zip. •Go into recovery. •Flash zip. •Then a menu will pop up asking what carrier you have, choose. •Reboot back into phone. •Pleazd allow a minute before anything. •If you don't have 3G/4G go into APN settings and just select the the only APN that pops up and wait a minute. •Bam, you should at least have 3g now.


WORKS ON (Updated): Works on CM13, CM12.1, Blisspop, CandyRom (for people that still use these). Working to improve this too.


THIS HAS BROUGHT 3G AND MOSTLY 4G BACK TO ME. IM NOT SAYING IT WILL BRING 4G BACK COMPLETLY BUT IT SHOULD BRING SOME SORTS OF DATA BACK LIKE 3G. I GET SOLID 3G AND SPOTS OF 4G WHEN I USE THIS.This has been tested on CM12.1 and tested it on CM13. It should work on other roms and if so or not, please tell me so i can put it here!

Have any problems what so ever? Send me a logcat or anything in that nature but i think there will be no problem. This SHOULD fix data problems you may have but if not, i'm sorry: ill work on it.

I have Virgin Mobile but I flashed both the Virgin & now Im using the Sprint APN now & it works fine! Although I still can't get 4G to work, I also have had free service since September & have only been able to use 3G for mobile data!

I had to do a couple things, first time I flashed this I had to wait. The second time I just had to select the APN within APN settings. I got 4G on CM13/12.1 spotty but I also got solid 3G. I'll update OP and let people know it might not be a solid fix for 4G but should for sure get you 3g at least.
 
@che_edgar Give the updated one a shot. You'll get solid 3g at least and tell me how 4g is on your part cause its working little better over here. Make sure you take a look at my directions just in case cause i noticed you said you had problem before.

Alright, will do. My problem was that I wasn't getting any data whatsoever but I'll tty it out now. [emoji106]
