The backups are made in sbf format, so I was hoping the software to edit the Motorola sbf's would work.
Has anyone tried? There is a download link floating around here somewhere.

Is it RSD Lite found here? Don't know. :dontknow:Has anyone tried? There is a download link floating around here somewhere.
i think the motions root uses an apk that's suppose to hack the backup app. but its made for the older version of the appI think if we had an updated version of that apk hack we'd have root
...couldn't possibly be as simple as getting a hold of that apk and installing it over the other and using the hack apk...could it?!
would imply you didnt think the sgs3 is all that grand![]()

I feel like I'm in a room with a lot of men talking loudly while making arm gestures, while I'm sitting in the corner trying to make sense of all this.
:hmmmm:

So.. I found another root program, every time I try and use it, the program freezes, not sure what that means lol. anyone want to give it a try here it is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682

That program is 3 years old
You can try it, but I'm sure it won't work.

superoneclick has never rooted a single phone in its entire life. what most people dont realize is that superone click takes other peoples hard work and exploits, sticks them in a program to where people just see a donate to him button and a root me button. they never learn that it was rageaginastthecage that rooted all the 1.6/2.2 phones. just that they used a program and it worked before.
the issue you have is when exploits run out (as they have) because all the people who did the actual hard work got sick of being ignored while other people made one click scripts and profited off donations etc. a buddy of mine did a great write up here for anyone that would like to understand what im talking about.
so now the program no longer works because there are no recent android wide exploits.

Hey shabby i read the whole thing and thats f up right there and i include myself there
gees don't have to get mad about it, I didn't donate to it. just something i found and talked about.

I don't see how shabby's post was an expression of discomfort, if anything he just enlightened us in something that some of us might not have known.
I didn't know that, but I do know those kinds of people exist.

Has anyone tried the Root for the LG P870 Escape?
This is all I could find on that phone.I just went to the escape forum and there is no real information. Can you link to what you are talking about?
