Hey there! with my recent purchase of the Note 3, i couldn't be more pleased, but of course as we all know, there is no perfect phone, there will always be SOME sort of blemish that you rather not see.
I wanted to start this thread to see what some of the more meticulous or detail oriented ppl found on their Note 3 that they quite couldnt keep their eye off once they spotted it.

Hardware or Software, doesn't matter.

this is my one annoyance so far, the HOME button... every few home button presses or so, either ill hit it at a weird angle or off center, and the button stays crooked/tilted. Once this happens, I cant help myself but to fix it back to straight. I've actually made a conscious effort to hit the home button less, because I keep thinking the more I jiggle that home button, the more its going to become loose..

freakin annoying! lol

whats yours?

I prefer to spend my time focusing on the many advantages of my Note 3, on increasing my knowledge of Android, and the personal responsibility I can take to optimize this outstanding smartphone. As a result I'm enjoying the incredible performance my Note 3 is capable of.

My first Note 3 had a fairly loose Home button that seemed to get more loose (maybe I just noticed it more) in the week I had it. Another issue was I had the dreaded 'screech' or 'chirp' sound that seems to plague many Sprint users (I'm on Verizon). But that only seemed to happen when I was at home where I have a weak signal.

I swapped my phone out for a new one and the Home button on that one is not nearly as loose. If I put my finger on it and gently turn it left or right it does move a little bit in those directions but not much and it seems to always return to center with normal use. Also, the screeching/chirping seems much less on this phone as well, although it still has less audio quality than my last phone but again only at my home.

But quite honestly, other than those two original issues I cannot find much of anything wrong with this phone. It is just a magnificent piece of technology. I'm discovering new things every day and my love affair just keeps getting deeper!

Oh! I did have one freeze up on this phone that I totally forgot about until just now! I had been using the phone a TON playing with various configurations and hadn't rebooted in a while when I tried to place the S-Note 5x6 Widget on my home screen and she locked up tight! I had to do a battery pull to get it back. It might something to do with having Nova set up for a 8x5 grid and trying to put a 5x6 grid on as well. I didn't retest the theory since I really don't like or use S-Note anyway!

THIS PHONE ROCKS!!!

I have roughly twice the finger smudges on the screen of my N3 than I used to get on my iPhone, and I can't for the life of me figure out why.

I have roughly none as I rarely touch the screen with my fingers.

maybe because of the N3's sheer awesomeness you are multitasking by using the phone whilst eating, and you can't even break for meals. Its that what they say, you can tell a true smartphone lover by the amount of crumbs and prints on the phone?

True. And of course the Note 3 has nearly twice as much screen real estate as the iphone hence twice as much room for smudges?

I carry a small microfiber cloth with me, usually in my laptop bag. It's perfect for wiping off fingerprints from my display.
