Root AllianceROM-7.4T battery drain

I just flashed this rom and I really like it. But...... my battery has drained from 69% to 20% in about an hour while just sitting in my pocket while I was out and about running errands. I took my phone out of my pocket when at Walmart and it was warm like I was on a long call but it was actually not in use for about 30 - 40 minutes. My battery was down to about 29% from the original 70% when I took it off the charger. Any one have experience with this. Any fixes? I just flashed this rom and nothing else. My battery was horrible on the previous rom but this is ridiculously bad. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
 
wow that is pretty bad. try turning 3g off. it is to bad we do not have a custom kernel yet. i was on 7.3 and did not experience that. i'm on mik2.2 and the battery is pretty good so far.
 
Well it looks like I solved the battery drain problem. But now I'm not receiving any texts. Funny thing is I can send one to myself and it will come through. But if any one else texts me it won't come through. I can send texts out fine though. Any ideas folks.
 
This rom is horrible. My battery drains faster than it has before. My camera doesnt work right, when I plug my phone into my pc it will only charge the phone and wont mount as a disk drive, I cant get incoming texts. AVOID this rom at all costs. Now I got to figure out how to flash a new rom with out being to connect to my pc.
 
Yeah, I'm home now so I am currently flashing Mik 2.2. I am very disappointed. I really liked that rom. It was nice but not worth the problems I encountered.

try using this rom

im having a blast with it and make sure you flash the kings format all before the rom like in the instuctions.
