Already fried 2 memory cards!!!!

hey "jack" how about you be a little more considerate before you start typing, i just finished up three rounds of chemotherapy for testicular cancer, and i gotta say, it's not joke material. do you have ANY idea what it is like to be diagnosed with cancer, surgery two days later, start chemo the next week for 3 months taking 6 bags of poison for 7 hours a day the first week of every cycle, puking every time you have to drive back and forth from the infusion lab, waking up with your hair in your face because it started falling out over night. being pricked with an IV in the same spot over and over because they have already poked every other available spot on your arm before. not being able to do anything but just sit there and take it. watching your family hurting even more than you are.

cancer is NOT a joke, it's a NIGHTMARE and i hope NOBODY every hears those words that i did. it is hell to live through and life just doesn't really get to the same point it did before...

think before you type stupid ****ing shit like that,

I'm only 20 years old, have one testicle left and am still twice the man you could ever hope to be.

I feel what you're saying but:

1) That post you're quoting is a few months old and
2) He made a follow up post apologizing
3) I'm more concerned about giving the OP hell for having a valid problem than I am the detail you're picking at. Yes, cancer sucks and I've lost relatives to it myself but, really.. it was a phrase he was using to drive his point home about blaming the phone for stuff. Not like he belittled cancer.

Again, I feel ya, but.. relax a bit.

All: Keep the thread on topic from this point. Thanks!

Just to give an update on my previous post, I put the "damaged" card back in the Hero and it's now working fine again, I can still access my pictures, the nandroid backup is still there, etc. I guess this proves once again that the cards aren't at fault when these failures occur (not usually anyways), but rather it's an issue of Android OS interacting with the cards.
