Root Alternate ROM downloading

I would like to know if there is an alternate way to download a ROM to your sd card instead of downloading it to a pc and putting it on ur sd card?
 
you can use your phone and download directly to the card. the file will be found in the download folder of your sd card.

edit:this is a much slower way of doing it. that is why everybody uses a computer.
 
Sorry! Somehow I ended up making two threads instead of one. My apologies the second one was what I was trying to get out.. so if it goes to the download part of the sd card, how can I get it to the root folder?
 
no worries.

you do not need to move the file. you can navigate it through your recovery. just know that it is found in the download folder. you can use a file manager like es file manager and copy and paste it to the root of the card.

I almost exclusively use my phone to download roms so long as there is wifi or a solid 4g signal. :-)

Never on 3g though.
 
I have ES that came with Fresh 4.1.1.0 so ill do that.. do I need to flash the radios again? If so do i do that before or after i flash the ROM? Aren't you glad there isn't 1000 threads made about this? LOL!
