Amazon App Store Thread - Daily Free Apps

Never heard of guitar hero 5 what this app is really about? Could someone please tell me more about it, because i also play guitar and keep looking for apps that are related to guitars.

You don't have to install it. What you can do is go under the Appstore settings and set it to block downloads over 1Mb on 3G; turn off your wifi and "purchase" the free app. It will tell you that it was purchased but user settings prevented it from downloading until you get on a wifi connection. I've been doing it for the past month or so and all of the free apps are being saved on my account.

OVERKILL! Just download the app on a computer and install the app on any device that it is compatible with at any time you want. It takes three seconds, if that, per day.

I suppose i DL every one of them but i never actually install them... K Paris is right though. Just use a computer and 'buy' every free one you want, they will show in 'my apps' or whatever it is called

This is a great deal for baseball lovers. I realize the season is nearly over, but it's still cool to get for free.

For all the Amazon AppStore haters who say the free apps have been crap, they're free so quit complaining!

Last year you could watch ALL playoff games in app so this is still awesome!! (i buy this app every year, its 15 bucks at start of year)

There's another workaround too. I "buy" almost every FAOTD, but never install them until I have time to fully evaluate them. After the "purchase" is complete, all of your FAOTD apps show up within the Amazon Appstore app by going to: Menu>My Apps. It even shows how many apps you have in there with a number on the My Apps button. Once you tap My Apps, you can review your list & install ANY previous app purchased, simply by clicking Install. I just did it with a few apps again this morning & it works like a charm.

That is the same thing I was talking about. I just didn't explain how to install them later if choose to. :)

Anyone get the CircleLauncher today?

I love this thing. I made four circles and put all my most important apps by category in there.

Made the circles transparent, so it has a minimalistic look on it. Then depending on which circle I press (Apps - Entertainment - School - Social) it gives me 8 apps in each of those circles (why 8 you ask? why not! lol).

Two taps for the win!

Cut The Rope is free today (09/28/2011)!

Definitely a fun game, and was worth the 99 cents I paid for it a few weeks ago!

So, I see tomorrow the HTC Rhyme launches and it has a charm that glows/blinks when a call / message comes in or one you did not get. Searched market place and no such app.
So, is there a way or hoccering it to another android or is there an app out there.
HTC can make a killing selling them for any android phone.

The older Nokia phones had accessories that did the same. Antennas and cases would light up when attached to the phone. There were even others, like a charm, that could just be near the phone to do the same.

And how is this relevant to the Amazon FAOTD?

Do a google search for BT charms. There are many out there that doe this.

I put this one in my Amazon "vault". Just not sure if I want 23mb on my phone, but I'll probably try it someday. Odd how it's "normally" $2.99 at Amazon, and $10.46 at the Market, and $9.90 at Appbrain. Must be pretty good at that price!

There's far too many apps out there and it's getting confusing! I just like the basic apps. My friend had a iphone 4s and the SIRI on there was great - can help you text message using your voice! Pretty cool i think!

Android phones have had that feature baked in for some time now. It's not that special and I don't even use it anymore. None of this really goes with this thread though as it's specifically about daily free Amazon App store app.

silly clown.. trix are for kicks...

and there is still free apps from amazon.. and sometimes (once in a blue moon) there might be a good one

True but since no one posts here saying which one it is and op doesn't keep first post updated I see no reason to keep this a sticky

Probably because it was a sticky, and he wanted it to die... only way to do that is remove the sticky and let us know. Not a big deal, since no one seems to search for what they want, I'm sure a new thread about Amazon Apps will show up within a day (or less).

Why would you bump a thread that hadn't been posted to in 8 days to say it's time to not post to it and let it die?
