Jewel twist. This is from a reviewer---

If you like match three games, you will enjoy Jewel Twist. It puts a new(ish) spin on the classic formula, and does so without requiring ANY permissions.

The point of the game is to match three or more adjacent tiles of a similar type and get rid of all the blue squares on the grid. By matching three (or more) of these tiles, you will destroy them, and any blue squares they occupy.

Rules follow those of Bejeweled, so getting rid of tiles makes new ones from above fall and take their place. Simple, yet effective.

There are currently 100 puzzles (levels) to get through, and even though the first five are a breeze, starting with level six the game gets interesting. This is because it keeps throwing new obstacle at you that must be overcome in order to progress.
 
I've tried twice today to download the Amazon app and both times the download appeared to be successful, yet there's no sign of the app anywhere on my phone (Samsung S2).

Can anyone help?

Yesterday's free app was not compatible with all tablets. It worked fine on my Sony S, but not on my wife's A100
 
Not that impressed with the UK amazon appstore so far. Doesn't seem much depth to it. Early days yet tho. ROM buddy is on there, should I get that? To supplement gnes?

dangit, that actually sounds fun... figures the one day i forget to check the app store, they actually have a decent game for free

not sure if youre talking to me, but i have not played the original. i just looked at the app store listing and thought it actually sounded decent

i picked that up earlier, and just tried it out. amazing game
 
I'd highly recommend Quell for anyone that likes puzzle games. I had it on the iPhone and have just downloaded it (free) for Android, thanks to this thread. Like all the best games, it's simple in concept, but done with a real sense of style. The physics are very good too.

9/29- Pigment. Does not seem to work with Droid Razr
