I usually check Amazon to see what they’re giving away each day. Here’s a recent list:

Is it just me, or are those the least desirable apps in the Android universe?
 
Maybe that's WHY their free, because no one is buying these apps.? It seems lately most of their apps are those geared towards kids.
 
Every once in a while Amazon will list for free an expensive app. Something that's extremely useful. You just have to keep an eye out for them.
As a rule, because it's a freebie, I don't moan about the app if it's not to my liking. I just don't install it.

Some very useful apps I've gotten from Amazon...

Business Calendar
Golf Frontier GPS
Monopoly (kids love it)
Trillian
TuneIn Radio Pro
Tweetcaster Pro

I haven't seen any useful apps like these in a long time.
 
Yeah, sometimes they do give out pretty decent/good free apps. You just gotta keep an eye out. I remember getting Angry Birds, but this was a while ago.
 
Not in the US, that is for sure. Today's app is Christmas Crash, rated 2 1/2 stars and ranking 24,600 best selling free app on Amazon.

They did use to have much better free apps then what we have seen lately. I opened up Kunundrum to see what level I was stuck on and it said I had to be signed in to Amazon to play it. Never had that happen before.
 
That's pretty crap that we don't get the same free ones. Sorry you didn't get this one, maybe you'll get it in the future, the UK have had quite a few of the ones mentioned recently.

They do sign in checks periodically for me.App2sd Pro and Root Explorer have done that before.
