1/20- Undecided about this one. It allows you to show photos and videos directly from your tablet to your DLNA TV. It has 3 1/2 stars but it is skewed by 1 star ratings from people that said you needed to log in to FB. Others said you could skip that option. Others gave it a low rating because their tv is not compatible. If you have a DLNA tv (Amazon lists a bunch of brands) this looks like it should work fine, but I haven't tried it yet.

I haven't rated it yet, but I'd say 4.0. Picked up my Panasonic tv quickly, has played everything I've tried. Did not sign into Facebook and it works fine. You tube plays well. Old movie quality is low, to be expected. Doesn't play avi. Not as good as Roku, but not bad for free (or even $5 if you had to buy it). Whatever you were watching on tv starts right up after you play something else. If they add Amazon prime to it, it would be great!

2/7- This has got to be the best FAOTD to come down the runway in a long time, for those that fly.

2-11; This is a very unique game. If anyone knows if a similar one, please post that here. The character's name is Moon Boy and he walks in his sleep. It is a platformeresque game and you have to move things out of or in to his way to get him safely back to bed. Starts out slow and easy and gets more challenging as you go. You can speed him up or retrace his steps. The only downside is that it is 60.6MB.

i saw a review on it.. said that after a certain point.. you have to share it on a social site.. to move forward.

I dont want anything that makes me share it. that is just stupid!

I've had Tune In Radio Pro for a while from AFAOTD and... I guess I'm experiencing the first "catch" of getting it free. The thing doesn't stay on if I don't keep the app live. Furthermore the app keeps asking me to sign into amazon... NOT Cool. I deleted and started using the free one since I don't use the record feature really.

Can anyone tell me what yesterday's faotd was? I remember it was some kind of puzzle game and I saw a very good review on it, but my wonderfully forgetful brain forgot to grab it when I got home.

EDIT: Nvm, it was HUEBRIX (in case anyone's curious). For those of you with Twitter accounts, there's a profile on there with an impressive track record for updates, at least in the past month: https://twitter.com/AmazonAppADay

I hadn't checked out the App Store in a while, and when I did, it asked to upgrade. I did so, and found the new app to have a strangely buggy interface. Left-right scrolling just doesn't seem to pick up cleanly - which makes it hard to scroll through the lists of related apps.

Of course, I don't intend to spend any money on those related apps, so maybe their algorithms have figured out I'm a deadbeat, and are treating me accordingly. ;)

Not too fond of the new updates either. Since I do not download the FAOTD very often, it really doesn't make much difference.
