Root amon ra nandroid

so i just went from clockwork mod recovery to amon ra. i did a nandroid backup but realized that i did not check to back up wimax keys. so i am currently to another backup.

my question is how long does it take? it is now been 20 min. i'm used to in clockwork mod only taking a few minutes.

just one question on doing amon ra nandroids. should i always check the wimax option. is there anything else i should "check" off on the backup menu?

You don't *have* to backup wimax every time. Basically, you should have at least one good backup of wimax, which you should, in turn, keep several copied of to make sure you don't lose it. Or, you can just check the option to backup wimax every time. It's not that big. Basically, if you ever somehow lose your wimax RSA keys, you'll need to restore whatever backup included them.

As for checking anything else, if you keep any apps on the sdcard via built-in foryo apps2sd, you might want to backup .android_secure. If anything changes on there, you might end up not restoring those apps correctly when you restore a nandroid backup. The only problem is that it makes the nandroid backup noticeably larger (but not *that* much).

Hmm, maybe. I haven't looked. I'm going to be gone in an hour or so for the next couple of days. If I remember to look when I get back, I'll let you know.
