Finally received my case today. Removed the Body Glove and slipped the Amzer on.
First impressions. Amzer is a better fit. Cut-out slots for charging, headphone, speaker, mic and camera are aligned better. Also, because of the better fit, less chance for dust/dirt to get inbetween case and phone. As noted by others, the case also covers the power button and volume up/down rocker. While some have said they took an Exacto knife to it, I would advise against it. I don't notice any adverse conditions, that would compel someone to do that. From my experience with it, so far... it doesn't make it any more difficult to press the buttons. However, on the plus side... it does offer more protection, especially against dust/dirt. Speaking of protection, while I'm not going to intentionally test the shock absorption of the cases... my personal opinion, is that the Amzer would probably rate higher.
Style... the case just looks sweet. The smoke gray, plus the see-thru argyle pattern, adds a touch of class to the looks of the phone. Unbelievable quality/styling for the money.
Drawbacks... I'm not especially fond of the tacky feel of the case. It is a fingerprint/smudge magnet. Makes it more difficult to get out of your pocket vs the Body Glove.
Its unfortunate that Amzer has such lousy customer service, for such a nice product line. While I find it highly unlikely, I will ever order from them again... I would verify they have the product in stock, for immediate shipping, prior to ordering. Or, look for another supplier, carrying the product line.
I will keep both cases, if the Amzer ever wears out, or I tire of the tacky feel... I can always switch to the Body Glove. Both offer excellent protection and style.
