An app to allow upside down portrait mode?

I want to allow my phone to rotate the screen all 4 ways. Why should I have to know which end of my phone is which when I pick it up? It's not even consistent, we can have both landscapes, so why not both portraits?!

Thankyou! I wish you'd seen the same post I made a year or two ago. Thought I'd ask again since I have a new phone (Android 12 instead of 11) and it still didn't do it. How could Google be so stupid as to not allow you to put your phone that way up? Is the battery likely to explode or something?!

I'm sure tablets can be used in all four orientations, and a Chinese device I had which dual-booted Android or Windows did. Why phones don't. you'd have to ask Google that I think.

Maybe they think we're all thick and would get confused when we couldn't find the power button. Using Android is as bad as using a Mac, built for children. I'm surprised they don't insist we always tilt to the left for landscape. Maybe they'd get sued by left handed freaks.
