An awesome app called "Gmote"!

Well, I haven't seen much to do about this application, but I figured I'd throw this out there since it is something I thoroughly enjoy. I found this app for free on the Android Market, it's called "Gmote". Basically if you're like me and use a PC for your music, movies and tv and you have wifi at you're place it links your Phone and PC! Making your android phone a surrogate keyboard and mouse! There are menus to get into folders throughout your PC. I really love this, I can be downstairs cleaning etc, and be changing music that's playing from my sound system upstairs! It's definitely not perfect and has room for improvement, but already it's a very convenient way to get the most out of my entertainment for me! Actually this sounds awesome. My computer is a room away from my main living room (where my HDTV and stereo is located) and I have really long (high quality) RCA stereo cables going from the computer to the stereo and I listen to music that way but it's a drag that I can't control things from a distance (so I have to make playlists). This sounds like I can pick music and whatnot from a distance.

Only thing is I assume you need a wireless network and for the computer to be on it otherwise I don't see how it would work and I'm not wireless (yet). I use a wired router. This might get me to change that (from wired to wireless).
