Some of you know ive moved. I havent had internet until today and Ive been crazy busy with the move and other family issues. Now that things are starting to settle down, I plan on getting back to work on a few things. My focus now is on tools to make things easier rather than ROMs-it seems like everyone and their mom is releasing a ROM these days :D

These two tools I threw together over the night.

First is my MetaMorph builder. Ive been asked how to make a metamorph file before, and it seems the most difficult part of it is the theme control file-this tool solves that problem pretty well. It takes an easy task and makes it even easier. Just follow the on screen directions and it does all the work for you. all you will need to do is add the new image files to their respective directories.
Click here to download, as of now this is Linux Only

Second is my APK_TOOL
Its basically a bash version of NinjaMorph run from your Desktop. Its allows you to replace any image in /res/drawable-mdpi from a specified app. It then re-signs the app and pushes it back to your phone. A backup is taken in the beginning in case something goes wrong and you need to restore to the un-modified apk.

So I take it your new user name on XDA is ban_dover as he is posting the same thing on XDA forum claiming he wrote it. Too funny lol.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=745907

ben_dover would have been even funnier

thats where it originally came from but
ben_dover ->ban_dover ->banned_over

idk...it was a logic leap. sounded funny at the time. i was probably high haha.

on another note, droidkevlar pointed out that this doesnt set up the sub directories, only to main Phone or Gmail folder etc
ill work on that and release v2. till then if your still using it, you will need to manually create any sub-directories you need.

was it just the bar? that was just a matter of removing the .9 and stretching it out. i cant seem to get any of the icons from the vanilla notification bar to stick with the rest of the theme

I WAS able to get the white bar for Sense, but the clock was white, the icons were black, the clear button was black and it overlayed the Evil Eris Sense dock with the stock one. Unusable. And the Metamorph one that was linked in my thread at XDA is for the Hero. I'm not sure if that matters, but when changing framework.res it put me into a boot loop. Please finish this Andrizoid!!
