i was on crackberry.com and I know all too well the frustrations that come with waiting for OS leaks for bb's.

Love the droid and from what I understand the 2.1 will speed things up a bit. I hope that the release will coincide with adobe releasing the flash player. late xmas gift or early xmas gift?
 
Flash probably wont coincide with it, since its completely separate. BUT!!! Flash should be out within 6 months (they already have a working droid with flash 10.1?...just get on youtube and search for it, an actual adobe rep is demo'ing a droid with flash.

Also several vids of people who have ported over the nexus 2.1 and have good things to say about it, should speed things up but live wallpapers and 3d stuff have the possibility for a user to slow it down though too (if any of the 3d stuff gets ported over).
 
Whew, thank the lord the 22nd is finally come and gone. Now we can stop with the "is the 2.1 update coming on the 22nd? I read......"

It was getting more annoying than the "how does strong bad type with boxing gloves" question.
 
I'm very surprised that I searched this forum and it didn't come up with any matches, so if this is a repeat I apologize but is there any word on when the Droid will officially get Android 2.1?
 
lmao, well as dumb as this may be, I wanted to make a smart comment and say how many posts I found when I searched it but in his defence if u search "2.1" it doesnt come up with anything. 2.01 gets you about 236 posts or somethin but none for 2.1. hows that work cause I have seen a ton of them

It isn't a rumor. My best friend knows this kid whos girlfriend has an uncle that works for verizon, google, AND motorola... and he said that is when we are definitely getting it.
