First Draw Back I ust found to FROYO: it does not read my AAC files anymore. Anythong to do with Apple using it?

Probably not. AAC is pretty standardized and used by a variety of media players, it's definitely not an Apple exclusive. I'd imagine you just happened upon a bug.
 
Where is this update? Vaporware: All these announcements and my nexus one is barren. No google love for me. I have no 'fast' or 'amazing'.
 
Waiting for new software isn't all that bad, having 2.1 isn't really a major difference, sure I'll like to have some new features but I'm not exactly dying to try out 2.2. It'll be great when it's release though :)

You missed the bit about getting up on stage and taking the piss out of competitors before embarrassing yourself by not releasing your update.

finally google has launched the froyo update FRF83. But is it official? can anybody confirm? I've installed it on my nexus one. It's running smooth.
 
I'm guessing if you got it from Google it's their official release.

The source code has been released to invididual manufacturers, so it's up to them how quickly they adapt and release it, and which of their phones they choose to update.

So that's why I say we should bombard Samsung with requests for the 2.2 update on the Galaxy Spica.

Well in so far Google has not made an official announcement, I doubt FRF83 is the official release.

Yeah.. I've not listened anything from google. May be an official roll out will be soon. Or may be another leak version.. :(

I'm dying for 2.2 because I want hands free dialing on my phone so bad I can taste it. The other features I can take or leave, but I really, really, really want hands free dialing.
 
The "new" features that "ifone" added in its version 4.0, Android had them since begun...That's all I have to say...See you "ifone" man...I'm so excited with my "Magic machine"

Yes I am agree with you. Google doesn't make any statement on final release of froyo till the date. And people are talking about FRF83 is basically a leaked build. Let's see what comes out.
