Android 2.3 "Gingerbread" Source Code Pushed To AOSP.

[LBPHeretic]

The Android 2.3 ("Gingerbread") source code has been released to the AOSP: Android 2.3 source code being now pushed to the Android Open Source Project | Android Central .

Now, the time has come for some real Android 2.3 ROMs for our handsets. I cannot wait to get my Gingerbread on.

Any guesses on when 2.3-based ROMs will be available (hope my terminology is correct)? I just loaded up the most recent AOSP, but I'm always interested in the latest of the latest!

Are you speaking of aospMod GB 2.3.1? It's out now

As far as CM7 GB, sounds like cyanogen is working on that now

I, for one, cannot wait for an Android 2.3 daily driver ROM. Who is with me?

Okay, yeah, I already know. You are all with me on that notion.
