Android 4.0 (ICS) - when?

This could be a stupid question, nay, perhaps a VERY stupid question......

But if I have an unlocked gs2 that is STILL on 2.3.4, then will updating to ICS when it comes out tomorrow include all the improvements that 2.3.5/2.3.6/2.3.7 had included with them??

Forgive the ignorance........

It is a complete OS upgrade so you can't really say all the updates will be in this build. If there were bugs in Gingerbread, I'm sure google addressed them in this update.

Really we shouldnt have to wait too long for vodafone to release ics to us bcoz they have bloated all there stuff onto the nexus so we should get the same os. (hopefully).

wot is touchwiz??

Its Samsung's own User Interface software on top of Gingerbread or ICS

hehe lol

Just back from Samsung support. ICS out today, they said. Has to be done via Kies, but I don't know if that's correct.
Unbranded phones first, I understood it to be.

(This was in Norway)
