Root Android^admirer*new 2.3.6 rom* android+lithium overclocked

is there any way i can get this to run on a "lazy ascend"? maybe someone cud try to make a 800 mhz version because this rom looks great!! bt i cant run it :(

If androidadmirer gives me permission, I may be able you port it for you :D

Every time I turn the phone off and then turn it back on after flashing this mod, all of the icons for apps installed on the sd lose their image and are replaced with a standard android image. Can't deal with it! Wish it didn't happen, cuz I was really excited about this one!

That usually happens when you have apps on the sdcard. You have to give them time to load up.

It doesn't happen with some of the other roms, and definitely not with stock roms. I gave it some time to load, but are we talking 10-15 min. or so? If you're not having too much load time for sd apps let me know, cuz I'd like to not fully give up on this one.

Okay, I'm doing a time test. I reflashed the rom--like I said, I really don't wanna give up on it! I downloaded only 1 (ONE) app and moved it to the sd. That's not considering that I have a 32g sd card, and would like a lot more than 1 app stored there. I turned off the phone and turned it back on, the app icon is now an android in a box icon. It's already been 5 minutes, and it still hasn't changed to what it should be. I'll wait and keep you updated on how long it takes, if it changes.

15 minutes, and still no change! I give up. Sorry I tried, LITHIUM. If not for that error I'd be in love with you.

this rom is great the only problem i had with it once i installed it my bluetooth wouldnt find my device no matter what i tried and then i went back to admire monster 5.3 and my bluetooth device worked again

First off, welcome to the forums!

Did you try reflashing Lithium to see if that helped? Did you try turning rebooting your phone before trying to connect again?

use tb to restore the app and data from your prrvious backups...anything bluetooth related.

first of all Hello! and second i'm having a issue with this Rom which occurs like every 2 days after its been sitting idle for sometime, i pick up my phone, slide to unlock the screen and the status bar disappears and a error comes up and i hit o'k and my phone freezes never leaving the lock screen. i have to remove the battery and turn my phone on to use and it happens a day a half to two days again... is there a fix for this? i really like this Rom because the ringers are loud and i tested other Rom's it was a toss up between CT mod and this one i chose this one because CT mod ringers are Tooooo low as well as the notifications. Thanks for your help in advance, as'well your services will greatly be appreciated.

before anything I would try to fix the permissions for that specific app. if that doesn't work try either reinstalling over top of what's there, or uninstall/reinstall.
always make a backup!

thanks for responding... you say install over top the Rom? with out wiping correct? now what if it is still doing the same thing, and how do if fix the permissions. actually ill fix the permission after i try reinstallation. Thanks again!

sorry, let me clarify... just reinstall the app without uninstalling it first. locate the apk w a root file browser (I use rom toolbox lite) and just click on the apk to reinstall it. to fix permissions get an app such as rom toolbox lite and use the app manager section. long press on the app and it should have an option to fix permissions, I would try that first personally. this should be able to be fixed without recovery, unless you reflash and start from scratch. good luck.

I checked the permissions to through root explorer to see if what the permissions were before i used Rom toolbox. then i fixed permissions the way you told me and re checked them through root explorer and they were the same, then i tried to re install the app and it wouldn't go through. so i'ma wait to see if the permission thing works if not ill drop a line. Thanks Again!
