Hello all,
Iam an android developer from Team Osiris, i recently recieved an epic 4g, would like to continue development.. where are you guys with cyanogen and such ?

and what should i know about this phone ?

Always glad to see another dev coming over.
Head to xda developers forum for more information on this device. Unfortunately, this forum does not have the coverage like xda.
Cyanogen mod 10 has already been developed for this device and 80% of the custom ROMs are based off of it.

iam seeing there are tons of roms for this phone.. idk if you really need me lol.. how about an OC kernel. if we dont have one, i could make one.. unless for some performance reason its been tried and failed ?

We have those as well. But we can always use others. I do mean ROMs and kernels. We also can flash the nexas modem but there is not noon like instructions on how to, so I haven't flash that as of yet. Not till I am comfortable with the instructions.

Yeah, I'm about to work on my own too. I was also going to add in underclocking as it worked out very well for me on my last phone.

Hit me up if you want to talk about ideas. I might me slow to respond, but I'll get back to ya.

I am a ROM junky. I flash every ROM available till I find the one I like. Right now I am on Slim ROM 6. Its the only ROM that does not have extremely bad lag. It still lags just not as bad.
Let me know.

Yeah, I think I've seen you at XDA. I plan testing my own stuff this weekend and maybe posting it up if it boots. I'm a little nervous as the phone I am coming from is hard to brick.

This phone is extremely easy to brick. I have already done it once and I believe I have seen at least 2 others that bricked their device.

odin can fix most of em though lol, i bricked / unbricked when modding everything out to do cm10

I thought I would post it here as you have mentioned intrest in the kernel for the new ROMs. It took me a while because I have been setting up someone else for the old ROMs that I have been working on.

What I did was hunted down an ICS overclock kernel and compared it to the CM10.2 kernel. I'm building now, but it should work.:D I did the work locally so it might be harder to mash up based on the links.

Holla
