Root Android flasher not working

So I decided upon the greats people here's recommendation to switch to CWM Recovery 2.5.0.7. I used the file in the download thread, and I used Android flasher that is linked to in the Rooting FAQ. It says it flashed the recovery image successfully but I no longer can boot into recovery. Any ideas?

2.5.0.7 is so last years recommendation. We're pretty much recommending 4ext touch now

Plus it has an app to flash it...

Well Damn. I'm behind the curve I guess. Where can you get that new recovery?

just look for 4ext in the desire dev section. download the recovery updater

and btw, this is why we try and teach people about fastboot/adb and drivers. so they dont need to rely on something like androidflasher when it goes wrong
